Something to keep in mind, performing is an part of learning music. Taking piano lessons are not just practicing for yourself, but also practice to share with others. Whether or not your primary goal of taking piano lessons will be for professional goal in the future, this is a way to keep improving and learn from your mistakes. I'd always encourage students taking piano lessons for me to perform regularly as part of the music learning.

Our guest pianist Myrna Setiawan is a phenomenal talent and the concert promises to be a sure treat. Her playing is marked by poetry, passion, and raw excitement. At her last performance at UL Lafayette several years ago, she wowed the audience who rose to its feet, cheering with excitement.
